This piece of software helps create project reporting templates in MS Word.
Reporting status of projects is a regular required activity in an organization. Many departments and groups and smaller teams of people are usually involved. Assessment of status periodically is determined from the status reports provided by groups of people who are responsible for the tasks of a project. The overall status can only be determined from these individual reports. You would then require some template for such reports. These templates then can take into account individual needs of an organization. All you need to do is to enter the project name, department, focus area and the product or process before starting the template creation. You would be able to zoom in or out. This would be very useful in checking the appearance and detail in the template. When the template is to your liking it could be saved for future use.
The software is available with sample data that is useful for getting a feel of how you could use the tool. The interface is simple to use. No user should have difficulty in starting to use the same. You are going to need Word version 2000 or later. You start by clicking on the start button. Thereafter, it is resetting text in the form already if the template is going to be different. Load sample data illustrates how to do it, what kind of data should go into the text boxes provided. These text boxes should have the data typed in that you want to use. This is a simple yet useful tool.
